Hello! I’m the proud creator of this little pet-care dream — a lifelong animal lover who finally turned their passion into a business. Animals have always been my happiest place, and now I get to spend every day doing what I adore: caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities.
At home, I’m kept on my toes by my two wonderful dogs, Bonnie and Daisy. They’re my daily inspiration, my chief treat-testers, and the reason I know just how much trust it takes to hand your pets over to someone else. Because of them, I treat every animal I care for with the same love, patience, and affection I give my own.
I’ve always had a soft spot for nervous or shy pets — the ones who need a gentler touch and a bit of extra reassurance. Helping them feel safe, seen, and comfortable is something that means the world to me.
Creating this business wasn’t just a career choice; it was a heart choice. I wanted to build something small, personal, and full of genuine care. When you choose me, you’re not just getting a service — you’re welcoming someone who truly loves what they do and loves your pets for exactly who they are.
Happy Tails & Trails is fully insured through Protectivity, and rest assured I have a up to date DBS check.
I keep a close eye on every dog’s behavior during our walks, and because I’ve built such strong bonds with them, I can spot even small changes right away. I always carry a fully stocked first aid kit—both in my walking bag and in my van—so I’m prepared for anything. My van is professionally fitted to make sure every dog travels safely, securely, and comfortably.
Please be assured I am upto date with my Canine first aid training so I am prepared for all emergency situations so I can handle it effectively and calmly.
In March 2025, we decided to adopt a dog called Daisy from Ukraine. Little did we know she was expecting puppies—a huge surprise, especially as she was only a year old. We had less than 24 hours to prepare! Thankfully, Daisy and I had already built a strong bond, and she trusted me to support her through her labour.
I knew nothing about whelping at the time, but I’m proud to say she safely delivered seven beautiful puppies. We all helped Daisy raise them, and they’ve now gone on to wonderful homes. We decided to keep one of the puppies, Bonnie—and we couldn’t imagine life without her now.
